The Douglas Fir has long been the back-bone of our Christmas tree business. Since the pioneer days Northwesterners have been gardening under and near this magnificent native tree.  The Doug Fir's pyramidal form has made it one of the most preferred varieties of Christmas trees on the market. The Douglas Fir needles are very fragrant--giving off a sweet smell when crushed. 

They are densely set, soft, dark green or blue-green, 1 to 1 1/2 inches long, radiating out in all directions from branches and twigs. For years these trees were harvested out of our national forests, but this is no longer the case. 

Our farm consists of 3,800 acres of Douglas, Noble and Grand Firs that we plant, care for and harvest for people all over the world to enjoy.
